ITINERARY OF 5 DAYS ADVENTURE TOUR FROM TANGIER

Day 1: TANGIER-RIF MOUNTAINS-CHEFCHAOUEN:

On the first day, you will be picked up from your hotel or airport by our driver and taken on an adventurous journey to Chefchaouen, a town in the Rif Mountains. The two-hour drive from Tangier takes you through picturesque cities and vast countryside.

After you’ve landed in Chefchaouen, choose a place to stay and begin your investigation. The city’s buildings are known for their signature blue color, which adds to the romantic vibe. Wander the Medina’s winding alleys and bustling souks, or unwind at one of the Medina’s quaint cafés and eateries serving delectable Moroccan cuisine.

 DAY 2: CHEFCHAOUEN – VOLUBILIS – MEKNES – FES:

After breakfast on day two, we will travel to Fes via Chouchhaouen, Volubiles, Meknes, and finally Fes. On the way, we’ll stop at the UNESCO-protected Volubilis Roman Ruins. Once a prosperous metropolis in a distant region of the Roman Empire, this massive structure was constructed in the third century BCE and abandoned over a thousand years later.

Following that, we go to Meknes, the capital of Morocco in the 17th century. Discover the charming ancient town with its walls and the famous Bab el Mansour entrance. Marvel at the gate’s beautiful carvings and embellishments as you visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, a sacred monument dedicated to the famous Sultan Moulay Ismail. After lunch, we’ll head to Fes, where we’ll spend the evening in a beautiful riad.

DAY 3: FES – IFRANE – AZROU – MIDDLE ATLAS MOUNTAINS – SAHARA DESERT:

On the third day, we will go by automobile to the Sahara Desert after passing via Fes, Ifrane, Azrou, the Middle Atlas Mountains, and the Sahara. Ifrane, frequently nicknamed Morocco’s Switzerland, is the first stop on the tour. While there, you may take beautiful pictures and just relax in the picturesque town. After that, we’ll stop at Azrou’s cedar forest, the home of some playful monkeys.

We then stopped at Midelt for lunch. As the sun sets, we make our way across the TIZI N TALGHAMT pass, a scenic overlooking the Ziz Valley and its gorges. En route to Erg Chebbi Dunes, we pass through the date-and fossil-rich towns of Aoufous and Erfoud. Visiting a fossil craft workshop might lead you to learn more about this unique art form.

Prepare for a breathtaking camel ride into the heart of the dunes to witness the breathtaking sunset after a relaxing afternoon at the hotel. Relax in your spacious tents with attached toilets and showers after a refreshing mint tea reception at the camp. At night, watch the Sahara come alive with a kaleidoscope of colors. While you enjoy your dinner, the band playing music by the fire will set the mood for a romantic evening under the stars in the Sahara.

DAY 4: MERZOUGA – RISSANI – ARFOUD – TODGHA GORGES – DADS VALLEY:

On Day 4, you will go via Merzougha, Rissani, Arfoud, Todgha Gorges, and Dads Valley.
Do yourself a favor and rise early today to witness the breathtaking morning, when the dunes transform into a mesmerizing spectacle of light and shadow. When you’re ready, saddle up your camel and head back to Merzouga to meet your driver for the journey to the Dades gorges.

Along the route, we will stop at Rissani’s lively traditional market. Strolling through its bustling streets on a market day—Sundays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays—will greet you with a vibrant array of aromas, noises, and colors. We continue on to Arfoud, where there is a petrified marble display in a workshop that you are welcome to see. We will stop for lunch while we go through the picturesque Touroug and Tinjdad palm plantations.

After that, we’ll head to the Todgha Gorges in a vehicle. In A River, you may go rock climbing in some stunning canyons with red cliff sides. Do not rush your exploration of the gorges; instead, take your time and enjoy the stunning scenery as you go.

To reach the Dades Valley, we follow Boumalne Dades. Along the way, you may see the famous “monkey fingers” rock formations and a charming spot on a mountain with stunning views of the Dades Valley. Finally, head back to your hotel for supper to round out the day.

DAY 5: DADES GORGE – OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU – HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS – MARRAKECH:

On the fifth day, you will see Dades Gorge, Ouarzazate, Ait Ben Haddou, High Atlas Mountains, and Marrakech.
The next stop on our journey, after breakfast, will be the Rose Valley in Kalaa Magouna. Come to the May Rose Festival to see the wares of local artisans who have created items centered around roses, such as oil, perfume, and decorations. You will pass through the palm groves of Skoura on your way to Ouarzazate. Take a tour of the Ouarzazate film studios, the locations of many famous films.

The famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a walled village and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is our first destination on the schedule. This renowned Kasbah has been featured in several films and television series, such as Alexander, Combatant, The Mummy, and Diversion of Positions of Authority.

After touring this famous kasbah, we return to Marrakech via the Tizi-N-Tichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains. We will stop for lunch and photo ops at scenic overlooks along the way. We complete the day by spending the night at a riad in Marrakech.
